37,000 and Not One Garafolo

Michelle Malkin reports that 37,000 people attended the Dallas Tea Party on the Fourth of July. Despite an open invitation, Janeane Garofalo did not attend to defend her comments calling the original tea parties a gathering of redneck racists whose sole issue was that Barack Obama is black. In the video you can hear ultraleftist Keith Olberman, who used to be a good sportscaster and constantly brags about his the Ivy League education he received from a non-Ivy League school, agreeing with the statement. This is not particularly surprising. Some media outlets were writing the parties off before they occurred. Despite large attendance, there wasn't much in the way of media coverage. No matter, the movement is alive and well and will continue to grow as people become more and more disaffected with this administration's rampant spending. For Pete's sake, they are already talking about stimulus II. This is only a beginning. I've received information from my local tea party regarding a planned march on Washington, D.C. That will be a big test of the movement, and I look forward to seeing what occurs.
