Pants on Fire

Look, I could write a long post about the recently announced "jobs saved or created by the stimulus package" and administration claim that they've saved 1 million jobs. I could talk about how it is impossible to quantify and highly unlikely. Or, how after Vice President Joe Biden (D. Lala Land) said that no one could reasonably dispute the number, he came back and said that the job statistics weren't 100% accurate. I could also talk about how the White House continues to lash out with anyone who so much as questions them, even ABC who said each stimulus job cost $160,000.00 to create, or the Edmunds report which showed cash for clunkers cost $24,000.00 per new car sold that wouldn't have been sold in the normal course of business. But I'll keep it simple and just say the administration is full of liars who get angry when you question the lies. Is this what we expect in our government?

All Aboard on the Corruption Train

Am I wrong to celebrate that Representative Maxine Waters (D. Cali.) is on the list recently leaked of corruption probes? I am not happy, however, to see how many people there are on the list and that they are in positions of great power and influence.

A Step Down in the Right Direction

For those of you who haven't been following it, the Republican Party took a huge step backwards in the New York District 23 race for the House of Representatives. The local party nominated Dierdre Scozzafava who doesn't so much qualify as a RINO (republican in name only) as she's just an outright liberal who should be running on the Democratic ticket. She's pro-abortion (anyone who calls it pro-choice is trying to distract you from the truth of the position), was endorsed by ACORN and accepted that endorsement, ran as part of the progressive Working Families Party previously (which is an offshoot of ACORN) and she's in favor of tax and spend policies. This despite the fact that a true conservative, Doug Hoffman, was interested in running, and indeed, decided to run on the Conservative Party ticket.
The National Republican Party and several prominent republicans endorsed Scozzafava, mostly citing to the local party decision to nominate her. Meanwhile, other conservatives who felt principle should proceed party, put forth their support for Hoffman. (This apparently made NBC ecstatic and they ran stories on in under every local market.) National radio and TV personalities Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity (who also have the three largest radio audiences in the U.S.A. and two of the three highest rated cable news commentary shows) all endorsed Hoffman and decried the support of what is essentially a female Obama who somehow snuck into the party.
Luckily, something behind the scenes convinced Scozzafava to suspend her campaign. I hope she eventually decides to fully remove her name from the ballot, but this allows the conservative candidate to hold the full support of the GOP. I'd like to think that the Republican Party worked behind the scenes to get this to happen, knowing that the local party had made a dramatic mistake, but we'll probably never know.

President Obama May Be a Narcissicist? You Don't Say...

Excellent article from the American Thinker site, even if you discount the narcissism angle it's still interesting to see some of the things that have happened during the course of the Obama presidency thus far.

I Don't Speak Yiddish, but I'm Pretty Sure This Guy is a Schmuck

Representative Alan Grayson (D. Fla.), who looks stunningly like the kind of man who would call everyone George and can't be trusted to pet rabbits (not my fault if you don't get the mixed "Bugs Bunny" and "Of Mice and Men" joke there), needs to shut up. He should probably also be voted out of office. I'm not ready to rule out euthanasia either. He has been called the left's Glenn Beck, the Democratic Michelle Bachmann and compared to Representative Joe Lewis who correctly pointed out that President Obama was lying. He's a pretty vile human being in my opinion, whereas the three people he's compared to are all pretty stand up guys and gals. It just shows the slanted basis of the current media that when talking about a human sack of waste like Rep. Grayson, they have to try and sling mud at some conservatives. Seriously, someone tell me what the hell Michelle Bachmann has done to invite this comparison? I was going to leave this jackass well enough alone, but geez, he's bucking for the attention, apparently.

Government Efficiency Still Oxymoron to No One's Surprise

Ah, good old "cash for clunkers", the idiotic program to stimulate sales of cars from companies now owned by the government and unions which destroyed the secondary charity market as well as driving up used car prices and ultimately held more benefit for foreign automakers. Now, the study comes out that of the 690,000 cars sold, only 125,000 would not have been sold otherwise, resulting in a cost of $24,000.00 to the taxpayers for each new car sold that wouldn't have been normally. Now that's what I call government efficiency.

Gordon Sumter Proves He's Just Another Idiot

Sting, the Police front-man, feels President Obama was sent from God and uniquely able to deal with the world's problems. Apparently he's had the opportunity to sit down with Obama, something General McChrystal can't manage to get done, at least not in any significant amount. Maybe Sting, whose IQ is apparently nearly the size of his pseudonym, should ask himself how a guy who spends every Wednesday night throwing lavish parties, has played more rounds of golf in ten months than hyper-criticized President Bush did in eight years, and apparently has more time to meet with celebrities than the Generals who are trying to keep young Americans alive overseas, is qualified to do anything at all. Come to think of it, where does President Obama think he is? Washington, D.C. or 17th century Versailles? What a horrible joke.

The Childlike Innocence....Wait, the Childlike Idiocy of Democrats

Touting the openness with which Democrats developed the House version of the health care bill behind closed doors, they unveiled the bill in a ceremony, which, no one laugh now, was closed to the public. This is: a) an example of the elitist attitude of liberals who think they know how to run your life better than you do, b) the kind of logic that leads people to calling government programs "competition" and c) unintentionally hillarious. This kind of rampant jackassery can lead to only one thing. That's right, a picture of the sexiest public servant alive. Congressman Henry Waxman (D. Cali.).

Well That's Just Unsettling

Scientists have created sperm and egg from stem cells, raising the possibility that men and women could be removed from reproduction entirely, and I'm not just referring to my own dating life. I really want to put on a black leather trench coat and learn kung-fu.

President Barack Obama. Statesman, Nobel Peace Prize Winner, Orator Extraordinaire, Felon

We all remember those halcyon days of the Clinton Presidency when nights at the White House were given as rewards for campaign donations (the rest of that article is just piling on, but good fun) and, if you wished, you might have coffee with the President, Vice President or other administration officials. One might call it influence peddling. One could also call it a violation of federal campaign law and a felony. See, it is illegal for federal employees to solicit funds in federal buildings. This never really seemed to bother the Clintons, who are at their most comfortable when violating laws.
Well, welcome back Mr. Clinton. It seems President Barack Obama, the pinnacle of ethics and purity (which he'd have to be, what with being our lord and savior), the man with the most transparent (..ly Communist) government in history, the most influential writer since Julius Ceaser (whatever the hell that means and nice to see the NEA striving for objectivity), the man most likely to utilize his ears in flight...OK, that last one is unfair, is also a felon. I'd like to tell you I'm surprised, but I try to be honest here. Updating my earlier blog regarding the Washington Times investigation, the Times obtained Democratic National Committee documents which detail perks given out to VIP donors which include access to federal government buildings amongst other nauseous behavior. I suppose the Democrat never falls to far from the tree of corruption. Of course, President Obama already cast aside federal bankruptcy law, so he probably feels he is above the law. I guess he's been reading his own press clippings.

Corruption Update

Drudge is reporting that the Washington Times is developing a story regarding how Obama donors have been offered a "wide range of perks". Did Woodward and Bernstein just wake up? Well, no, but maybe someone conservative similar to them did.

Today's Recommended Reading, Part II

You know the world is upside-down when Pravda, the former official media organ of the Soviet Communist apparatchik, can tell that the United States is moving towards socialism while few media outlets in the States are willing to make that call. Ummm, anyone else concerned?

Barney Frank, Not Your Average Bigt Dumb Gay Dinosaur

I really cannot comment on this video of Representative Barney Frank (D., somewhere near your anus) other than to say, thanks, at least he's up front about everything....well, other than sex.

Administration, Please Take Notice

As if solely to affirm economic truths, New Yorkers who actually can afford to pay taxes are fleeing in droves. Will liberals ever learn that borders are not fences that can force tax money to remain in a certain region? If the administration continues down this wealth-bashing, tax-raising, idiocy, people will be fleeing the United States, too. I may well be one of them.

I'm Guessing There's Not an Opt-Out for My Income Taxes

Well, Senator Harry Reid (D., Nev.) has unveiled the proposed health care reform bill. It is to include the "public option" (because government "competition", like winged unicorns, is a creature fully grounded in fact). It also includes the ultimate poison pill, an opt-out provision that would allow the states to opt out of the plan. Why is this a poison pill? Let's make an exercise in logic. Who would opt out? Conservative governors. So conservative governors who opt out will be governing citizens and businesses who are paying the taxes without receiving any of the benefits. This is not a good way to get votes. It is basically a meaningless provision because, as a practical matter, no state will be able to opt out unless the conservative governor is willing to lose his job. Well, I guess the opt-out clause might have wings and a horn, too.

I Have a Sneaking Suspicion Krauthammer is Related to Me

Here is a transcript of Charles Krauthammer, syndicated columnist and all around genius, commenting on Special Report with Brett Baier that we wasted $1 trillion on the "stimulus" package. And hear I thought I was bad with money. Can we subject the Congress to a spendthrift trust?

As if We Didn't All See This One Coming

Lord Stern, an author and outspoken climate change advocate (does that mean he wants climate change?), has said if we are to save the planet we'll have to stop eating meat. he says its a waste of water and creates a lot of greenhouse gases. Does this mean we need to actively kill the animals? What about the fact that man would have a much smaller brain if not for meat eating? If I were a vegetarian, would I have known about that little fact or been capable of searching for an article I read like seven years ago? In any case, I need to defrost a roast for tomorrow.

As My Imagination Wandered

OK, so I'm pissed right now. I'm watching (10/26/09) Countdown with Keith Olberman, because for some reason I still try to listen to the other side. Mr. Olbermann said, without ambiguity, that FOX News made up the story about being left out of the White House Press Pool. So let's see if I'm more reliable than a man who get's roughly 2.5 million viewers nightly:

http://beltwayblips.dailyradar.com/story/obama-administration-tries-to-ban-fox-from-white-house/

The scary part is I could post more. Lots more. Over 300 more links that I left out because I wanted to give neutral sources for the most part (though I got lazy about it, it was a lot after all.)
I'd like to show the clip but I can't find it to post yet, but I watched firsthand as he called it FOX's "made up story". It's not like he's just lying, he's ignoring obvious truth on the idea that he can't be caught. He is free to put up his opinion, he is free to broadcast his ignorance, he is free to be an idiot and ignore reality, he is free to be what he may be and some moronic network can broadcast his idiocy. I just thought you might want to know how bad, how blatant, the lies are.

Finally, Some Standards in Media

Reports indicate that when the White House made the Pay Czar available for five minutes to do a pool interview for everyone but FOX, the networks refused to conduct the pool interview unless FOX was included, even NBC. The White House relented, shortening the interview period to three minutes. It's nice to see at least some modicum of principle in the media.
There is a much darker side to this story, however. The actions of the White House, by singling out FOX News to leave out of the White House press pool interview shows a blatant disregard for established legal precedent which gives equal access rights to news organizations to the White House. Even more disturbing is the utter contempt the administration is showing towards the First Amendment. The President took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States. He is violating that oath almost daily.

Unyielding, Crushing Debt

The Senate is poised to vote to increase the cap on the national debt for the second time in less than a year to above $13 trillion under the administration of President Barack Hussein Obama, mm, mm, mmm... Let's be clear, President Bush pushed the cap up 7 times in the 8 years of his presidency. The caveat here is that ballooning budget deficits under the utterly moronic policies of this administration and the progressives in Congress (you too, Senators McCain, Snowe, Collins, et al.) is likely to catapult the debt higher and faster than anyone can imagine. The 2010 vote may be the last chance we have to save this country from going the way of Mexico, and even that may be too late.

FCC Takes First Steps to Regulate Internet

The FCC is moving towards the "net neutrality" rule. Essentially, this is another anti-capitalist, social justice concept which takes away profit motive from the companies that built the infrastructure to bring you high speed bandwidth access to the internet. This is the first step towards content control, but even should it never go that far, if this eventually becomes a rule, we will have removed much of the incentive for the development of technology to bring the internet to people at faster speeds with greater content.
Congratulations, FCC!!! Morons. Luckily, unlike much of the programs the administration is attempting to institute, I think this one is relatively easily reversed as long as it doesn't go too far in the same manner the Fairness Doctrine was by Ronald Reagan.

Coming Soon!!

Well, usually the posts that take me the longest to put together seem to get the most praise. So, in that spirit, I'm working on a piece about why conservatism always loses and the country has continued moving left to the point where the constitution doesn't matter to politicians. Stay tuned, I don't think anyone else out there is working on this, even though I got the idea from a line Rush Limbaugh tossed out during his radio show a few weeks ago. The left sets the agenda.

Lies, Damned Lies, Statistics, and MSNBC

Democrats have been running around talking about how support for the "public option", which will neither be an option, nor will it be done in public (I know, that's not what public means here). The truth of the matter is a bit more complicated.

Late to the Game

Senator Lamar Alexander (R., Tenn.) to White House: Don't Create Enemies List. Me to Senator Lamar Alexander, ummmm.....you may want to change that to stop harrassing the people on your enemies list.

My undying love of Ann Coulter continues with this piece.

White House Sets About Setting Executive Pay

So, the White House has followed through with threats in hiring a Pay Czar to set executive pay for those companies receiving bailout money. Does anyone bother with constitutionality anymore? Where is that provision that says the Executive Branch has any right to do anything like this? Where was the provision that granted Congress the power to do bailouts in the first place? Can we please start a movement to send each member of Congress a copy of the United States Constitution, the Federalist Papers and Economics for Dummies?

The Eagle Has Landed....A Left, and a Right, an Uppercut, and Down Goes Frasier!!!

I just saw this video clip on Neil Cavuto of Buzz Aldrin having an intelligent discussion with a gentleman who called him a coward and a liar and accused him of never having walked on the moon. Well, OK, so maybe his right cross had an interaction with the man's face that smarted.

The Only War That Matters

To the Obama administration, its not so much important that they make a decision on a troop surge in Afghanistan. What does matter is that Obama's troops surge against FOX News Channel. The war on FOX has escalated to the point that administration officials, namely Chief of Staff Rahm "F$%^ing" Emmanuel and Senior Advisor David Axelrod are admonishing other news networks not to follow the lead of FOX, which they say isn't even a news channel, just a wing of the Republican Party. Anita Dunn, the White House Communications director, who bragged about how the Obama administration controlled the media during the campaign, fired the first volley. I wonder if she considers herself a wing of the Communist Party, what with her open admiration of the mass murderer Chairman Mao Tse Tung.
Let's review the nightly lineups of FOX and one of those objective news organizations, which the administration has openly stated they love, MSNBC. At 5 p.m. CST we have Glenn Beck, commentator, conservative, 6 p.m. Special Report with Bret Baier, which has news reports and a commentator panel mixing liberals and conservatives, 7 p.m. Bill O'Reilly, who is a moderate/conservative (he's pro universal health care), 8 p.m. Sean Hannity, very conservative, and 9 p.m. Greta Van Sustern, openly supportive of Barack Obama and the administration, liberal similar to Geraldo Rivera. Now, MSNBC, same time slots. Hardball with Chris Matthews (gets a tingle up his leg when Obama speaks, just left of Stalin), The Ed Show, Ed Shultz, openly left wing, repeat of Hardball with Chris Matthews, in case you hadn't vomitted yet, Countdown with Keith Olberman, delusional, lunatic, leftist (why does he get to broadcast NBC football games and Rush Limbaugh can't own a minority interest in a team?), and to wrap up the evening o' objectivity, there's Rachel Maddow, who is so far left you may have to look to your right to see her (she's also a very handsome man).
My point here isn't to glorify FOX News as objective, though I give them more credit than most for trying. In general, the commentators do lean right. There are a number of liberals making regular appearances on O'Reilly and Hannity in panel discussions. In fact, each show has at least one liberal voice.
My point here is also not meant to excoriate MSNBC, though feel free to, because personally, I find them offensive for the most part and every single time I've watched the channel, which is more often than I'd like to admit, I've caught blatant lies coming out of the mouths of the commentators.
My point is this: how can the Obama administration truly attack FOX as not being a news organization while leaving MSNBC as the paragon of virtue they seem to believe it is? I believe the answer is simple. They have a psychotic need to destroy anyone who criticizes them, much like President Nixon and his "enemies list". We should not be tolerating this kind of thing. Especially from an administration that appears to be moving towards controlling the media, but I'll have to put together more on that later. Just don't forget, they seem to be focusing on FOX more than Afghanistan, and young Americans are dying over there.
Update note: I'm not sure I got those lineups correct for Central time as Glenn Beck airs at 4 and the FOX Report with Sheppard Smith (another Obama supporter) airs at 6 before O'Reilly. On MSNBC push everything up an hour and 9 p.m. Olbermann's bile regurgitates.

That's My Story and I'm Sticking to It

This is getting to be ridiculous. The Obama administration and the President himself are obsessed and still feel the need to blame former President George Bush for everything, including the massive budget deficit that they have no one to blame but for but themselves. If your child persistently blamed someone else for everything wrong in their life, you'd probably spank them. I can't think of a better word than pathetic to describe this kind of behavior.

If it Were a Vote, it Would be a Landslide

The newest Rasmussen poll shows that 54% of Americans are opposed to the current proposals on health care reform and only 42% are in favor. Shouldn't that pretty much end the whole discussion? Instead of Senator Harry Reid (D., Nev.) sneaking behind closed doors to hammer out some sort of final bill, shouldn't they scrap the whole thing? If there were ever more proof that these people think they know better than you do about how to run your life and that your opinion just doesn't count, I can't think of when.

50 Days to Armaggedon, Mark Your Calendars.

British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has told the Major Economies Forum that they have 50 days to save the world from global warming. These people are hillarious. He and Al Gore should do a comedy tour.

Well, At Least the Clothes Should be Nice

You may remember Senator Judd Gregg (R., NH). President Obama nominated him to be Commerce Secretary, but Gregg refused the post due to his fundamental disagreement with the stimulus package and Obama's plan to move the census from the Commerce Department to the direct supervision of the White House. Now Senator Gregg is saying that the financial policies coming out of Washington, D.C., have the country on the path to becoming a banana republic. I wonder how much it would cost to move to New Zealand.

What idiocy is this? I really did think we didn't have this kind of thing going on in Louisiana anymore. Someone whose job is to perform marriages won't perform an interracial marriage? Keep an Eye Out for This

Is George Soros now part of the investment group led by Dave Checketts which is seeking to buy the St. Louis Rams that just dropped Rush Limbaugh? Be skeptical, boys and girls, but I wouldn't put it past Soros to have used this all as a setup to try and bring down Limbaugh or at least to discredit him on a wide scale.

Congress to File for Moral Bankruptcy

Now this is probably one of the most disgusting things I have ever heard in my life. Rather than give money to the troops for such things as fuel, ammunition and training, Senators have syphoned off $2.6 billion for pet projects, including $20 million to launch an educational institute named after the late Senator Ted Kennedy (D., 7th level of Dante's Inferno). Even more disturbing is the $25 million for a new World War II museum at the University of New Orleans. Really? Does anyone think that WWII veterans want to be honored at the expense of properly equipping our soldiers to fight? Whoever inserted these projects needs to resign.

A Brief Update on Me, Myself and Irate

As much as I believe in the American people and am optimistic that the Tea Parties and town hall showings indicate dissatisfaction with a big government direction in this country, I have my caveats to hope. We all remember the lady in this video clip right after the election talking about how President Obama was going to pay for her gas and her mortgage. Let's give her credit for maybe being carried away by the moment. Recently in Detroit, Michigan, over 35,000 people lined up (and scuffles broke out) for a chance at stimulus money (over 65,000 applied), which as few as 3,500 might receive. The money is meant to help low-income families keep themselves in homes. Noble thought, but how is this "stimulus"? Answer: it's not and it was never meant to be. It's a slush fund to get Democratic votes. Anyway, back to the point. Here's a transcript of an interview from a local TV station:
ROGULSKI: Why are you here?
WOMAN #1: To get some money.
ROGULSKI: What kind of money?
WOMAN #1: Obama money.
ROGULSKI: Where's it coming from?
WOMAN #1: Obama.
ROGULSKI: And where did Obama get it?
WOMAN #1: I don't know, his stash. I don't know. (laughter) I don't know where he got it from, but he givin' it to us, to help us.
WOMAN #2: And we love him.
WOMAN #1: We love him. That's why we voted for him!
WOMEN: (chanting) Obama! Obama! Obama! (laughing)
Part 2 of the interview:
ROGULSKI: Did you get an application to fill out yet?
WOMAN: I sure did. And I filled it out, and I am waiting to see what the results are going to be.
ROGULSKI: Will you know today how much money you're getting?
WOMAN: No, I won't, but I'm waiting for a phone call.
ROGULSKI: Where's the money coming from?
WOMAN: I believe it's coming from the City of Detroit or the state.
ROGULSKI: Where did they get it from?
WOMAN: Some funds that was forgiven (sic) by Obama.
ROGULSKI: And where did Obama get the funds?
WOMAN: Obama getting the funds from... Ummm, I have no idea, to tell you the truth. He's the president.
ROGULSKI: In downtown Detroit, Ken Rogulski, WJR News.
I can't find a link to the original interview, but I did actually hear the audio played on Rush Limbaugh, where this transcript is taken from.
This happened October 7, 2009. So we can see, there is a great deal of ignorance out there and there are morons who believe that this money just magically appears and there are no consequences except that they can spend it and they are being given it. "We love him! That's why we voted for him!"
If you think for a second this wasn't the intent of the "stimulus" package and every liberal program, to create a ruling elite that knows better than you what is best for you, then you are denying the obvious. Buyer beware, indeed.

What's Two Trillion Dollars Amongst Friends

The supposedly deficit neutral non-bill health care reform bill that is still being hammered out behind closed doors by likely soon to be ex-Senator Harry Reid (D. Nev.), who has now admitted that the bill (presumably the final bill) will cost $2 trillion. Luckily it's not real money, right?

Creepier and Creepier

I'll let the article speak for itself. Just remember the context of the National Endowment for the Arts telephone calls. The Administration is actively engaged in utilizing the supposedly free media as tools to push its agenda.

Mabe They Should Remove That Pesky "Land of the Free" Phrase When the National Anthem is Performed in California

In a state with a city (San Francisco) that bans smoking so severely that Michael Jordan faced fines for smoking a cigar on a golf course, (seriously, you can't even smoke outdoors?), I suppose it's not surprising that the California state legislature is moving to ban certain types of big screen TVs due to the energy consumption. Why does California care? It's not like they actually produce power anymore. They import more energy from other states than any other state. California is a preview of what the United States will be if President Obama, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Henry Waxman, Barbara Boxer, etc. (hmm..., lot of Californians) succeed in reshaping the nation.

So That I Don't Have to Write a Screed on the Senate Health Care Bill

Someone at American Thinker has pretty much covered the topic for me. Can we get Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe out of the Republican Party and make them the Democrats they apparently long to be? This is what a moderate gets you in the age of liberalism, more liberalism. That foot is getting in the door.

Get Up, Come on Get Down With the Sickness

Uggghhh. Can we please stop this crap with school kids and Obama worship?

Our Wonderful Post-Racial Age

Rush Limbaugh has been dropped from the group he joined seeking to purchase the St. Louis Rams under a fire-storm of controversy regarding racial comments attributed to him. In 2003, Limbaugh made comments on ESPN regarding the media treatment of Donovan McNabb, the black quarterback of the Philadelphia Eagles, which resulted in his forced resignation from his commentary position at the network. Now the way he phrased it wasn't the wisest thing in the world and, having watched the broadcast, I seem to remember Tom Jackson and Michael Irvin, both black and former NFL players, agreeing to some extent with the comments because they related to media, not the race of the involved player.
Since the announcement of Limbaugh's bid to be a part owner of the Rams, such racial harmonisers as Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson jumped in (when don't they if they can allege race problems?) to attack Limbaugh. This is the same Jessie Jackson who arrived just in time to smear some of the already dead Martin Luther King, Jr.'s blood on his shirt so he could tell the media that he'd died in his arms, fathered a daughter in an extramarital affair while counseling President Clinton on the Lewinski scandal, and said he wanted to cut off Barack Obama's nuts while calling him the n-word. I won't even bother with the golden jogging suit that is Al Sharpton. You can read more about his accusers here. It's worth watching Representative Sheila Jackson Lee (D. Tex.) talk about minimum standards on that link as well. You know, the lady who took cell phone calls during her town meeting while a cancer survivor was talking to her and has her staff searching for funerals to speak at.
Limbaugh has been accused of far worse than the McNabb comments. He has been attributed with strong racially divisive comments. Stuff about King assassin James Earl Ray and a bit of backhanded praise for slavery's role in building the South. Funny thing is, no one can find them to cite a source. Really? Rush Limbaugh can't cough without a transcript. It's purely invented crap and I'll go out on a limb having listened to the man on and off for almost 20 years that his word is better than theirs. Not to mention, if Chris Matthews and MSNBC is all over the story, it's likely to be a lie. If MSNBC widely reported that I write this blog I wouldn't believe it.
Thank God we live in the post-racial America.

The Failure of President Obama's Foreign Policy Continues

So, what were the concessions President Obama received on unilaterally surrendering our position on the missile shield and simultaneously throwing Poland and the Czech Republic under the bus? Well, the rumor at the time was that, behind the scenes, he must have gotten concessions from the Russians on sanctions against Iran. Whoops! Guess that was wrong. Vladimir Putin has warned against "intimidating" Iran. Not only that, Russia is asserting its swagger once more, affirming its right to use nuclear weapons in a pre-emptive strike, singling out the United States and NATO. Oh, and by the way, President Obama's vaunted back-up plan of the mobile Aegis-based missile shield is drawing suspicion from Moscow as well. So what did President Obama get for the unilateral surrender of the planned missile shield? The same thing Neville Chamberlain got for appeasing Hitler, slapped. His apparent reaction, hey guys, come take a look at our nukes!!! He's seriously allowing the Russians the most intrusive inspection rigths of our nuclear arsenal.
When will people learn that you cannot appease bullies? President Obama has so greatly weakened America's position in the world it will be a wonder if we aren't invaded by Hugo Chavez and 14 soldiers in a Pinto then promptly surrender to him.

Me, Myself and Irate

I'd like to take this opportunity to address some comments I've received from multiple people about why all the negativity, these guys will be gone in four or eight years and we will learn from them. In the past, I would have taken the long view on this kind of thing as well. However, President George Bush was such a polarizing figure that the left pushed farther and farther left. The left was bitterly disappointed by President Clinton's slide towards the middle after the 1996 mid-term elections. When Al Gore lost, the left was apoplectic. For four years they stewed at the policies of President Bush. I have no idea why since his domestic policy was pretty much centrist to left-centrist, growing government. They hated his foreign policy because they feel the world's opinion is more important that what is good for the United States. When President Obama finally took the reins by defeating the liberal John McCain, the left went nuts. Everything was suddenly on the table, and not only on the table, but with a President who, at least rhetorically, was willing to push that it has to be done now. This is probably because they know that there is the potential for a backlash similar to 1996 in the 2010 mid-term elections.
The foot in the door is all they need. Government programs don't retract, they expand. Idiots like the two Maine Senators, Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe, give enough votes to get some form of the moronic packages in the door, never to be pushed back out. The administration has already seized American companies and either decided how to run them (FDA and tobacco) or outright taken control of a majority interest, handing off the rest to unions. In doing so, they have violated bankruptcy law and shown a blatant disregard for the Constitution.
The effects of these actions, if allowed to go through, will handcuff future generations from ever being able to fight back. The crippling debt and the burden on the economy will mean our children will have difficulty finding jobs. Inflation from the ridiculous spending could cripple the dollar. We stand at the edge of the Vimar Republic. We can't let that happen. Do I believe it will? No. I think the American people have already shown that they are willing to stand up. I hope that after the 2010 elections I can write about the progress we are making and keep a watchful eye for corruption and other things. I am by nature an optimistic person. But we have to stop this now. We cannot rest while the liberals have complete control of this country. I can't find anything positive about this President because he is, by nature, a foe to the United States Constitution and he has shown this at every turn. So I'll have to be negative for a bit longer. I trust my reader(s) know that if I see positives about the administration, I will point them out. But we can already see the left pushing the President farther left and his rhetoric is showing a willingness to do so. The agenda is subversive and it works on levels we aren't meant to see. Vigilance is the defense of liberty.
Don't ever forget, President Obama talks about fundamentally changing the United States.

Don't Ask, Don't Tell

Al Gore has been criticized in the past for his failure to debate global warming (I can't even call it global warming with a straight face anymore). This despite the British High Court specifically citing nine "mistakes" in his film, "An Inconvenient Truth", which I suppose proves his point that the truth is incovenient, at least to Al Gore. Recently, at an event in Madison, Wisconsin, an Irish filmmaker asked Gore to address these nine mistakes addressed by the court. The response? His microphone was cut off. I guess what President Obama means by "there is no longer any debate" is that none will be allowed.

Even the BBC is Beginning to Doubt

The BBC has posted this article on global warming questioning the science behind the global warming mythology.

To Hell With the Middle of the Road

I've been accused of being so far to the right that I can't see the middle of the road anymore. I have no interest in the middle of the road. I don't want compromise. I don't want a half measure of health care reform. I don't want a little bit of government help. If you think the middle of the road is the way to go, you just don't get it.
The left sets the agenda. By nature conservatism cannot set an agenda because it is one of retraction. So the left comes in and says something like we need health care. Instead of fighting like hell to say no, this can't happen, it's not good, it is unconstitutional and it will not work, we get "reasonable" people like John McCain and Olympia Snowe who are just looking for the compromise. Idiots. Quick quiz: Name the government program that has progressively gotten smaller over time. We don't want to let the foot in the door. We can't have half measures of cap and trade or a small value added tax or a tiny little bit of health care. The second we give ground we're done.
I cannot tolerate the view of people who have no vision. Like most everything else, if you find the middle of the road, you'll be run over.

Ummm, Holy Shit.

I can't guarantee that I'll post anything today because every time I try to write I think about Obama getting the Nobel peace prize. Beyond ridiculous. I swear I'll try, but I'm really kind of struck dumb.

Seriously? People Look Down on Raping Little Kids? I Had No Idea. Obama Seems Cool With It.

Sean Hannity has been reporting some very disturbing news about Kevin Jennings, the so-called "Safe Schools Czar". If proven true, this could be the most egregious example of the administrations radical leanings. First, there is no question that Mr. Jennings aggressively supports the gay, lesbian and transgendered agenda in education. He founded GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network. Let's assume for a second this is an equal opportunity fairness -type organization. Do you really want your school teaching your kid about what sexual phenotype he or she should fit into or identify or sympathize with? You may also note that October is Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender history month. The hero of the day for October 8, 2009, is.....Harry Hay!! Now Harry Hay is an activist who has been associated with the North American Man Boy Love Association. Yeah, that's exactly what it sounds like, old men who want to have sex with little boys. Coincidentally, Jennings (safe schools doesn't include statutory rape-free zones?) has praised Harry Hay in the past. Also, Jennings, on being approached by a minor who was talking about his relationship with an older man in a bus station bathroom was supportive of his happiness and only concerned that he wear a condom.
ARE YOU AWAKE YET? If you are not crying out to the rest of the world about what is going on in this administration and this government, if you are not pointing to my blog or other people who are pointing these things out like Sean Hannity and Glenn Beck and Michelle Malkin and Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter then you are passively sitting by and watching little kids get raped. This shit is being taught in public schools. Are they being taught here in Louisiana or in Texas? Probably not. Is that reason enough to sit back and not care? Are you ready to deal with your kid coming home and asking if it's OK for him to have sex with the 40 year old janitor? The things I've posted here are just scratching the surface. This goes deeper. Our President is a fan of this guy. He was a fan of Van Jones. He has people vetted only by Valerie Jarret running around in positions of power.
I can see through propaganda and agendas. I can think for myself. But these people are attacking our children. They are indoctrinating them. There's nothing wrong with our kids accepting the sexual preference of others. There's nothing wrong with tolerance. I have a problem with our government trying to force tolerance on our kids. But this is not teaching that. This is pushing hard on influencing the way our children think. This is disgusting.

Today's Recommended Reading, I Give You Michael Chrichton

This is one of the best essays I've read on environmentalism. I've been using it for quite some time to show people the faults of the modern politicized science. I believe this country and this world are going to miss the kind of insight that Michael Chricton had.

Standing Up For Corruption and Idiocy, Democrats Support Tax Cheat

Representative Charles Rangel (D. NY), who is chairman of the powerful House Ways and Means Committee that writes tax law, who has been under scrutiny for some time as an apparent tax cheat, has been defended by Democrats who apparently feel perfectly comfortable with him as the chairman. In a near party-line vote Democrats defeated an attempt to remove Rangel from his position. This was not an attempt to impeach the man, remove him from office or jail him. This was a move designed to stop a man who thinks he's above the tax code from writing it. In similar news, House Democrats are expected to appoint Roman Polanski as head of a new agency dealing with babysitting teenage girls.

I Wonder if the Goverenment Gets Joint Custody

In the continuing nanny state theme that seems to be so pervasive these days, now principals in the Philadelphia school district will be graded partially on how many of their students eat breakfast at school. The move is designed to ensure that all students eat breakfast. The only way to monitor this is to have them eat it at the school. I suppose if you provide your kids with a nutritional breakfast at home you can rest assured they'll eat horrific government crap at school now. I hear it goes down well with a little brainwashing.

I'm Gonna Wash That Brain Right Out of My Head

Can we all agree that kids singing praises to President Obama and singing about his policies is just disturbing as hell? This latest one is from a private school started by Ron Clark in Atlanta and was broadcast on CNN. Rush Limbaugh did play a clip from one of the students who sang and actually disagrees with Obamacare and said he believed we needed a free market solution. Well, at least one of them isn't brainwashed. What are the odds he learned that in school versus from his parents?

As Much As I Hate to Retract Anything

It seems Bill Ayers, playful bomber that he is, may be joking around about the authorship of Obama's "I've Done Nothing Worthy of Writing One, Much Less Two, Memoirs". Perhaps the Pentagon and other bombings were just fun little pranks of his as well.
I had heard this from several different sources without confirmation and jumped when I saw the article. It was weak evidence. I don't think this ends the discussion, though.
In the end, truth is all that matters, and I can't support this. I'm not backing away from the story, I just can't confirm it. We'll see where this goes.

I Know Nothing About Him, He Just Wrote My Book

More and more reports are circulating that domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, who President Obama has tried to distance himself from, actually wrote one of Obama's memoirs, "Dreams From My Father". But Obama doesn't know anything about him and barely even knows him.

Oh, God, Book II

In the category of "Please, Lord, gouge out my eyes and rupture my eardrums, strike me dumb and tell me I didn't just read that." comes the story of African bishops stopping just short of calling President Barack Obama the second coming of Christ. Ghana Archbishop Charles Parker-Buckle said "It's like the biblical story repeating itself.", though he was referring to the story of Joseph who was sold into slavery and came out of it to be an important person. Look closely at the language being used about unification of the races and the divine plan behind his election, however. I would make the case that this borders on idolatry. Luckily, the domestic bishops still seem a bit ambivalent.

If You Can't Arrest Someone For Being an Illegal Immigrant, is it Still a Crime?

Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio has been stripped of authority by the Department of Homeland Security of the ability to investigate illegal immigrants based upon their status as illegals. The Sheriff will still be allowed to investigate the immigration status of people he picks up for crimes (thanks, DHS!!!) but he can't investigate people for violating immigration laws. So, let's get this straight, no one is an illegal immigrant until they commit a felony?

I Know it's Kind of a Theme, But Can You Trust Your Government?

President Barack Obama (D. L'Enfer) held a conference with "doctors" who are in support of his health care reform yesterday. His first line was something like you all look spiffy in you white coats. The problem is, the White House had to provide them for some of the doctors, despite being told to wear them to the event. I'd like to ask anyone reading this blog to take a minute to search for the names of the doctors who attended this event and find out how many work only for non-profit centers and post your findings on the comments. I know you may not find anything. Just look at how arranged this event was. It's not public relations anymore, it's abject lies and propoganda.

Tomorrow it Starts Again

While I think I've posted some important things in the last few weeks while I've really taken time away, I'm done with relaxing on this. Maybe I have to write on this blog for years before anyone is watching other than my two faithful readers, but I think that maybe I have something to offer. I've forgotten that sometimes the effort is all that matters. So tomorrow, I'm going to try this again with the passion that I gave it before. I hope someday that maybe there's an audience, but maybe that's not the point. I apologize for the time off. Let's play.

If You Didn't Believe Me Before on Climate Change, Try This on For Size!!!

In a great piece on American Thinker, author Mike Sheppard absolutely destroys the mythology of the UN science supporting the idea of anthropomorphic global warming. Can we put this to bed now? Also, if this doesn't show you what the UN really is, you're asleep at the wheel.

White House Takes On Fox, Glenn Beck, With Rather Weak Evidence

The official White House blog blasted Fox News and Glenn Beck for disregarding the facts. Specifical, the White House was attempting to refute reports that Patrick Gaspard, the White House Director of Political Affairs, was formerly the right-hand man of the current head of ACORN.

Well, here's the support they cited, the St. Petersburg Times Politifact, a fact check blog. Read carefully and you'll note that ultimately, they were relying on an article which relied on ACORN founder, Wade Rathke's own blog posting, which he later disavowed. Still, Gaspard worked with SEIU in New York, which shares its corporate headquarters with ACORN (along with a number of other groups) here in New Orleans and the two organizations are nearly interchangeable. Seems like if the White House had better evidence, they wouldn't have reached for what is, at best, a technical error.
