Must See TV

This clip of Piers Morgan interviewing Toure (which I believe is French for asshole) is great. Mr. Morgan says exactly what I would have hoped I would say given the same opportunity in response to the idiocy that is the race baiting left on the Trayvon Martin shooting. When England's answer to Barbara Walters says you're not a professional journalist, you should probably be embarrassed. But then, Toure (which I believe is Italian for vacuous moron), is a frequent MSNBC contributor, so what can you really expect.

And in Unemployment News

Keith Olbermann, already squirreled away in the far corner of Al Gore's Current TV, has been fired from that position. I hesitate to revel in someone else's misfortune but a) Olbermann can afford to be out of work, b) he brought it on himself by being as impossible to work with as he always has been and c) he's a hate filled man who earned all 15 of his viewers by spewing venom at everyone who doesn't think the same ridiculous nonsense he does.

Hollywood Slap in the Face

Jane Fonda has apparently been tapped to play former First Lady Nancy Reagan. This is Hanoi Jane. The treasonous piece of filth that worked with the North Vietnamese against the Americans in Vietnam is going to play the wife of the greatest president of the 20th century? That's just disgusting.

After the Election He Can Engage in Unconditional Surrender

President Obama was caught on a live microphone during a private conversation with Russian President Dimitry Medvedev explaining how once he gets passed his election he will "have more flexibility" regarding what's left of the missile shield he so readily surrendered in Eastern Europe early in his administration. With this President, the only thing more flexible than his current foreign policy towards Russia is full surrender. Hopefully he means he'll have more flexibility because he will be a private citizen again.

Today's Recommended Reading

Charles Krauthammer's Washington Post editorial focuses on Obamacare and the monstrosity that it represents. Given the pending oral arguments to the Supreme Court, I highly recommend the piece.

Giving Layover a Whole New Meaning

Little Rock Airport is to be renamed "Disbarred and Impeached International"...just kidding, it's to be named after two people who were disbarred from the practice of law in the state, one of who was impeached as President of the United States. Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport is to feature a cigar shop and a stop-n-shop where you can briefly be sworn in for a federal deposition so you can lie during it, thereby committing a crime, just like the airport's namesake. Alternatively, you can stop in the real estate office and make a shady land deal like the Secretary of State. I suggest staying away from any flight which requires a layover there, as a blue dress is required.

Thanks for flying modern political airlines. Please check all scruples at the gate.

President Obama Pledges to Stop the Threat Dinosaurs Pose to Mankind

It occurs to me that I've been wrong all along. President Obama doesn't hate fossil fuels (I mean, why else would he be so supportive of the Chevy Volt, a coal powered car). He's simply worried that, after 65 million years, dinosaurs are trying to kill off mankind. The President is now going on the offensive (which offends me) by trying to pin down lawmakers by proposing the elimination of tax breaks (not subsidies mind you, "subsidies" is liberal English for a tax break, which allows you to keep your own money, whereas a subsidy in English is money given to you by the government, from the hard earned cash they took from someone else) for big oil, i.e., dinosaurs, though any such talk of doing the same for the "green" energy sector is anathema to him.

So next time you see a dinosaur, even if it is the form of a liquid, because they're tricky like that, remember to call President Barack Obama, defender of modern man from dinosaurs.

Department of Justice's Stimulus Package for Attorneys

The United States Department of Justice pulled back, giving a 60 day extension for all public pools in the country, including every hotel in the country, to comply with regulations requiring wheelchair ramps. I'm not entirely sure what happens once the wheelchair goes in, or how they are expected to accommodate electric wheelchairs, or if this is some elaborate joke that ends with thousands of handicapped people named Bob. The only thing these regulations would accomplish is a flood of lawsuits against public pools (most likely hotel chains, having the deepest pockets), giving a stimulus of cash to plaintiff and defense attorneys. It is this kind of ridiculous central planning that makes me wonder if the handicap lies not with the paralyzed, but in the minds of the regulators. I'm sure the hotel chains are lining up to donate to President Obama for that generous 60 day exemption. File this one in the category of so ridiculous, it can only be government.

Gloria Allred, Moron at Law

Gloria Allred, who was part of the ridiculous railroading of former Presidential candidate Herman Cain has asked Florida prosecutors to look into criminal charges against Rush Limbaugh for calling attention seeking Sandra Fluke a slut. The leftist hypocrisy on this has lifted to a new crescendo, crashing like a wave of idiocy across the land. I'm assuming Ms. Allred won't want me jailed for calling her ignorant.

Damned War on Women Must Be Expensive to Fight

President Barack Obama, whose party has taken to accusing Republicans of waging a war on women for various reasons, the latest of which is a 30 year old law student (who is apparently specializing in public appearances) who is too irresponsible to hold herself accountable for her own actions, must need a lot of money to fight that war. Not only has the White House told his fellow Democrats not to expect campaign money this election cycle from the Presidential campaign, but he had to take $1 million from Bill Maher! You remember him, the women's rights activist who repeatedly has expressed his own brand of misogyny which includes several vile references to conservative women.

By the way, ask yourself why Sandra Fluke decided to attend a Catholic university even though she had a history of campaigning for abortion, contraception and (reportedly) employer paid sex changes? Because she wants to force her views on the institution. She could have gone anywhere else.

This is the Car America Had to Stop Building

Commercials for the Chevy Volt have actor Tim Allen reading a script which includes the line "This is the car America had to build." Apparently not so much. GM is announcing a five week suspension of production of the Volt along with temporary lay offs of 1,300 workers. The heavily government subsidized, occasionally flammable car with a battery life that makes a smart phone look like a perpetual motion device was plagued by poor sales (despite President Obama's promise to buy one when he's no longer President).

What we have here is yet another case study to show that government cannot centrally plan an economy or somehow legislate technological progress (though, ironically, essentially the Volt is a coal powered car, so progress is a relative term). Government has no business trying to do this kind of thing as it just throws tax dollars at bad ideas. Now do I think politicians on the left or the right will suddenly recognize this? Nope.

Don't Say I Didn't Warn You

In hotly contested elections with accusations of fraud, former President and Prime Minister Vladimir Putin is once again President of Russia. This is a continuation of the slide back to dictatorial status of the Russian government (though in reality, that's only like a 1 foot long slide). Putin's opponents have vowed to challenge the result, but I have little faith that they will be able to prove the allegations of corruption as long as Putin has anything to say about it, nor would he willingly surrender power even if they could.

When Society Places So Little Value on Life

The Dutch (Netherlands, Nederlanders, Lowlands, Payees-Bas, that area surrounding Amsterdam, home of the EU (pronounced EWW), home of the dikes, famous for prostitution and "space cake") are anxious to kill their citizens. In fact, they are so anxious that, even if your treating physician won't consent to your decision to off yourself, they'll send someone in to do it for them. This was the first country to legalize the idea that medicine includes relenting to a person in pain who is likely not of sound mind and off them. In most places that is reserved to hit men. This is the outcome of people who do not value life because the state is eternal, and you are just a cog in it's machinery, replaceable (though, ironically, that same attitude is why western culture is disappearing).

Don't get me wrong, my grandmother refused medication to continue living. That was her choice. It did not take an affirmative action by someone claiming to be a health care provider to put her down like a horse with a broken leg. Every life is valuable and the person that chooses to end their own should do so with a clear mind and without the assistance of others. I will hold your hand as you pass away, but I won't hold the knife.

Today's Liberal English to English Translation

Compromise : English : Two persons or parties giving up something they want to reach an amicable agreement which advances both sides causes.

Liberal English : A Republican voting for a Democratic bill that they disagree with on principle while getting nothing in return.

Democrat to Resign From Long Term Republican Position

Senator Olympia Snowe (RINO, Maine) has announced she will not be running for Senate again. Luckily, this leaves room for an actual Republican to run on the ticket for the first time in 34 years.

Nothing Less than Evil

This is what evil is. Killing babies no different from abortion, experts say. This is abortion, this is the outcome of the policy, this is the elimination of the retarded, this is the killing of the ethnically inferior, this is what we fought and stopped in WWII while accepting it with open arms in the 1920s. This is what progressive means and stands for, this is evil.

R.I.P. Andrew Breitbart

Andrew Breitbart, whose reporting I have often had the pleasure of linking to in my blogs, has passed away at the far too young age of 43. He was a fierce advocate of conservative ideology and one of the best counters to leftist hypocrisy. I hope someone is able to step into his shoes, but cannot imagine anyone with the passion or acumen to do so.
