Yet Another Blow Struck For Illiteracy

House Judiciary Chairman John Conyers (D. Mich.) questioned the advisability of Congressmen reading a bill if it is over 1,000 pages and they would need two days and two attorneys to know what it means. So expecting our representatives to know what they vote on is asking too much? When asked about his son's homework, Conyers responded, "I just don't see the point in my son reading 'A Tale of Two Cities' if he's only got a week and Charles Dickens doesn't explain it to him."
UPDATE: Yes, I know the original title said "Stuck"
