House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D. Cali.) doesn't care that people hate her or that they don't trust her. I'm pretty favorable that a political candidate shouldn't be winning on popularity, but at some point, if the people who elected you in a representative democracy universally disagree with you, and you don't care, you need to step down. Her attitude demonstrates a universal truth of the elites, they got into office to execute their own agenda, they could care less about what the people they represent want.
