Any time someone says it's not about me, they're telling you it is about them and nothing more than them. As I previously noted, President Obama has complained that others may destroy his presidency. When he says his health care reform isn't about him, he means it's about him and him alone. There has been a disturbing trend in his speeches to speak in the first person singular, saying I or me, rather than speaking about or on behalf of the nation. In fact, the only time he refers to the United States, he doesn't say "we", he uses the proper name of the country to distinguish itself from him, and he only seems to mention the country when he's apologizing for one of the perceived faults. So what are the odds that he will honor the request of the police who he said acted stupidly, and review the facts and apologize?
