Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg stated in an inteview with the New York Times: "Frankly, I had thought that at the time Roe (v. Wade, the case legalizing abortion) was decided, there was concern about population growth and particularly growth in populations that we don't want to have too many of."
And now for a brief history lesson. Planned Parenthood (an agency that could only be named by a liberal as getting an abortion is the opposite of planning for parenthood) the modern American champion of abortion evolved from the eugenics movement in the early 20th century. You may remember eugenics as the time when many believed that we could selectively breed humans to be a better breed by forced sterilization of minorities and people with mental defects and, in the extreme expression of this policy, killing them. That's right, Hitler was a big fan of eugenics. Eugenics sought to control certain populations. Sound familiar?
The effect continues today. Modern abortion disproportionately affects black populations. Hmmm.
