Larry Summers, top economic advisor to President Barack Obama, cited less searches on Google for the term "economic depression" as proof that the economy is progressing favorably. Do I really have to say anything about this? Larry, maybe searches were down because so many people no longer have a computer. Maybe they are afraid of goofing off on their work computer as they might lose their job. Maybe they are now homeless.
In fact, by this theory, if everyone's electricity gets cut off, then no one will search Google for "economic depression", therefore, the economy will have improved and everything will be all right. Finally, the theory behind Cap and Trade revealed!!!
