MSNBC ran a story on its television network about how a man carrying a gun at an Obama protest raised the specter of racial tensions against a black president. As they discussed racism against the President, they showed a photograph of the persons lower body, where a pistol was strapped on his belt and part of an AR-15 slung over his back. What the picture didn't show, and MSNBC never mentioned during its discussion of racial tensions was that the man was black.
