Local radio host Garland Robinnette lost me a long time ago. Garland is one of those people who seems to have forgotten that if your mind is open and you lay down, everything spills out and you just end up with an empty head. This is not to say that I'm against being open-minded, but when you take it to the point of an inability to make any real decision or to hold a position, it's ridiculous self-congratulatory political correctness for the sole purpose of saying how open minded you are. Despite all evidence to the contrary, Mr. Robinette (who jumped down the throat of one sheriff post-Gustav when he actually still had a pair) has been a supporter and admirer of President Obama. Today, however, he had a decent analysis of the President's speech on energy policy, and a quite impressive critique to go with it.
Excellent, excellent, excellent. Could not have been said better. I will have to start listening to him when I move down there.
