Something else of note. The announcement that the United States is unilaterally capitulating to the Russians on the missile defense shields in the Czech Republic and Poland comes, incredibly distastefully, on the 70th anniversary of the invasion of Poland by Germany on September 2, 1939 and the subsequent invasion by the Soviet Union 12 days later. Further, Poland and the Czech Republic are two of the United States' staunchest allies, being two of the few remaining countries with troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
This is a colossal insult to our allies and a massive surrender to our enemies, and make no mistake, Vladimir Putin's Russia is our enemy. Our President could not have made a worse decision, even if he may have gotten some concessions on Iran from the Russians, which is speculation at best.
