Is Bob Stupak Executing the Full Nelson?

Senator Ben Nelson (D. Neb) was the staunchly anti-abortion senator that could not compromise his anti-abortion stance and allow federal funding of abortions. At least, not without a good chunk of change for his state to ensure he had a bragging point for his next campaign. Well, after he tapped out of the match under the pressure of a half-Nelson, it appears the next Democrat with principles won't be so easily swayed. Representative Bart Stupak (D. Mich.) was the author of the now-famous Stupak amendment, banning federal funding for abortions from the House bill. Now he's levied the charge that the White House and Democratic leadership are trying to silence him regarding the abortion language in the Senate bill. Stupak claims to have sufficient votes to sabotage the required compromise between the House and Senate bills if the abortion language remains as it is in the Senate version.
Will Stupak execute the full Nelson? Or will he sneak off into the night with a bribe under his coat and his supposed morality in his pocket? One can only hope he has a backbone and can stop this bill cold.
