When Society Places So Little Value on Life

The Dutch (Netherlands, Nederlanders, Lowlands, Payees-Bas, that area surrounding Amsterdam, home of the EU (pronounced EWW), home of the dikes, famous for prostitution and "space cake") are anxious to kill their citizens. In fact, they are so anxious that, even if your treating physician won't consent to your decision to off yourself, they'll send someone in to do it for them. This was the first country to legalize the idea that medicine includes relenting to a person in pain who is likely not of sound mind and off them. In most places that is reserved to hit men. This is the outcome of people who do not value life because the state is eternal, and you are just a cog in it's machinery, replaceable (though, ironically, that same attitude is why western culture is disappearing).

Don't get me wrong, my grandmother refused medication to continue living. That was her choice. It did not take an affirmative action by someone claiming to be a health care provider to put her down like a horse with a broken leg. Every life is valuable and the person that chooses to end their own should do so with a clear mind and without the assistance of others. I will hold your hand as you pass away, but I won't hold the knife.
