Government Efficiency Still Oxymoron to No One's Surprise

Ah, good old "cash for clunkers", the idiotic program to stimulate sales of cars from companies now owned by the government and unions which destroyed the secondary charity market as well as driving up used car prices and ultimately held more benefit for foreign automakers. Now, the study comes out that of the 690,000 cars sold, only 125,000 would not have been sold otherwise, resulting in a cost of $24,000.00 to the taxpayers for each new car sold that wouldn't have been normally. Now that's what I call government efficiency.
