I mentioned earlier that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D. Cal.) was having a "sane day" when she refused to allow the Michael Jackson Humanitarian Alleged Pedophile of the Year Award debate to come to the floor of the House. I say this because she also, earlier today in her weekly press conference, said that she would not support a second stimulus package at this time, though that is a reversal of her earlier statements. Strangely, Senate Majority Lead Harry Reid (D. Nev.) also has come out against a second stimulus package. I can only hope that they maintain this stance, as a second stimulus would be twice as asinine as the first one was.
