My Experts Are Pure and Unbiased

As many a global warming alarmist will tell you, oil companies spend massive amounts of money funding global warming research which tends to disprove global warming. These scientists, in order to procure more funding, are manipulated and directed by the oil companies to their findings, regardless of the true science.

RIGHT!!!

So the truth could be that billions in grants issued by governments world wide have a huge influence on climate researchers dependent upon those grants for their existence. In fact, most scientists who do not produce anything which can be utilized in society or the marketplace, such as archeologists, historians and climate researchers, depend on grants to live. They are common place. But certainly these people are more pure, the oil companies provide more filthy lucre and the science is therefore more correct, yes? Not just no, but hell no. The U.S. federal government has spent $79 billion on climate research since 1989. The costs of carbon trading in 2008 was a $126 billion dollar marketplace. I wonder how much the vaunted IPCC study cost to rely on a chart, the so-called "hockey stick", which had been shown false a decade earlier?

Maybe the bad science shows why the alarmists have to attack from every angle, convening hearings on global warming as a threat to national defense. This is politicized science and the politics of fear.
