The nomination of Cass Sunstein, a Harvard professor, for Regulatory Czar (what the hell is that?) is being held up by Senator John Cornyn (R. Tex) because of his positions on gun rights. He is also a fan of Peter Singer, a highly influential bioethics professor at Princeton. Ole' Petey believes a child should be allowed to be aborted up to the age of two and that sex with animals is kosher as long as they consent. When did the country's elite intelligentsia become so stupid? It's pretty disturbing to see this kind of person even make it to the nominee stage, but it does support my theory that Obama's only restriction on abortion is if the kid is able to evade you. I'd love to find a clip of him referring to babies as "the most dangerous game" while dressed up as a hunter.
