OK, Time to Stop Messing Around and Get to That G.E. Post

The latest news is a nugget that slipped out as President Barack Obama surrendered to Vladimir Putin. President Obama aided in getting General Electric to the table with the Russian Prime Minister who is a de facto dictator. This is just the latest in a pattern of highly disturbing and clearly unethical entanglement by the Obama administration with General Electric (and Goldman Sachs, which is running most of the Fed through former employees). I've been meaning to lay out the relationship for some time now, so here goes. Please keep in mind this is not a timeline, so the events mentioned aren't sequential.
It goes without citation that MSNBC has been in the tank for Obama from the beginning, sacrificing any sense of journalistic integrity or balance (though it goes without citation, here is a citation though I don't think it can be quantified just how biased they have been). MSNBC is, of course, owned by NBC whose parent company is General Electric. When confronted by GE shareholders at a meeting about the obvious bias, GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt shut down questioning. Jeff Immelt and NBC CEO Jeff Zucker have both been directly involved in the left-leaning slant of MSNBC and it's rabid support of President Obama's agenda.
Not that media bias is anything new, but it gets a bit deeper. President Obama after the election appointed Jeff Immelt to his Economic Recovery Advisory Board. So we have the head of a corporation with a major news outlet subsidiary that is working directly with the administration and appears to be using the news outlets to support the President's agenda. This is not to mention that Jeff Immelt has presided over GE while it has been driven into the ground and is on the Economic Recovery Advisory Board.
In the meantime, GE has also positioned itself to lobby for and directly benefit from administration proposals (I strongly recommend reading this entire article), which Immelt clearly has influence on as an advisor to the President. GE has positioned itself to take advantage of wind power, "smart grid" technology, CO2 scrubbers, electronic health care records (which are already in limited use and, I'm told by doctors I deal with, useless and confusing to the physicians who have to use them), as well as having legislation written which is going to give GE the money to continue operating despite its financial crisis (these are all covered in the article I recommended above though I was aware of them before I found the article).
To make a moderately sized story short, GE and President Barack Obama have become intertwined in a hugely concerning and highly unethical manner, and this is just the stuff I can find working on this part-time. I would encourage anyone reading this to keep an eye out for more things like this. This is the most transparently corrupt administration in history.

G.E. Short for God***ned Evil

In case you need a reminder, here is a link to my long ago post about the association between General Electric and the Obama administration. Revelations today make it even more clear that President Obama is in bed with G.E. (maybe literally). It seems G.E. received $24.9 million in "stimulus" grants while they cut 18,000 jobs. Oh, and the apparently capital starved company made $156 billion last year. G.E. also received jobs as the primary contractor for four other stimulus grant recipients. Democrats raged that Haliburton, who was the only contractor capable of performing all aspects of the job, had been associated with Dick Cheney, who gave up his interests in the company well before he became Vice-President and yet somehow, no one seems to care that the President of G.E. is on the President of the United States' council of economic advisers and his company has benefited immensely from programs the President has implemented and potentially could benefit from programs he advocates.

As if There Weren't Enough Evidence that Google Is Evil

I've written before about Google and how they are a great example of spooky big corporations (like GE). Now the National Legal and Policy Center, a group advocating for smaller and more ethical government, is calling for the investigations of the unusually close ties between Google and the Obama administration (like GE). They are pointing to federal policies under this administration which have favored Google (like GE). But none of this can be true, of course, because Democrats are the party of the people, not big business. By the way, I have some ocean front property in Colorado for sale.

The Guardian Knights of the Obama Administration

While I wouldn't necessarily adopt the title of this video post with respect to NBC's Matt Lauer losing his cool during an interview with Michelle Malkin, I would note a few things here. First, NBC and MSNBC have been in bed with President Obama for a long time. As we all know, Jeffrey Immelt, the CEO of GE, NBC's parent company, holds a position as an economic advisor to President Obama and GE has helped shape much of the legislation coming out of the Democratic controlled Congress as well as benefiting from such legislation (I'm planning a large post later on laying out all of this in more detail.) So, I ask that you watch Lauer, a journalist, not a commentator, in this interview and see if you feel he is being objective or defensive on behalf of the administration. Then, at the end of the video, I'd like you to note the look on his face and listen because you can here him twisting up the papers in his hand into a roll over the audio feed. This is a guy who was clearly angered by the interview. Objectivism in the some of the mainstream media, especially the media controlled by GE, is dead, and probably has been for years.

Where's Waldo? That Lying Son of a Bitch

As a conservative libertarian, I try to listen to all sides of a debate, even though I know going in which way the lies will fall (and don't judge, there are lies on both sides of the congressional aisles). So I occasionally watch Rachel Maddow and Keith Olberman, who hurts me most of all because he used to be a good sportscaster, and see what is being said. Take a look at this video, watch it all the way through, and, like me, use it as a diet pill. I've lost 15 pounds watching Rachel Maddow, and it's not her haircut, it's the stream of lies that makes me vomit like a candidate for "America's Next Top Model". Keep in mind that MSNBC is owned by GE, whose CEO is an economic advisor to the President, despite driving GE stocks into the ground (I'm still working on that post). She can't even get through the intro to the piece without telling three lies (that I counted). See if you can count the innacuracies. It may be hard, since she doesn't utilize source material. I stopped at about 30. GE...we bring good lies to life!

Is Barack Obama's Advisor Assisting in Killing American Soldiers?

Bill O'Reilly reports that IEDs used in Iraq and Afghanistan and supplied through Iran have components traceable to GE, whose CEO is a financial advisor to this administration. GE has long been known to contract with Iran, but now information may be finally coming out that shows just how ruthless this company has been.
In all seriousness, I am shaking right now because of the anger I feel towards this company and it's association with our current president. This is, after all, the parent company of NBC, which has been in the bag for President Obama from the beginning. This is unacceptable. If President Obama has any knowledge of this, and I can't imagine that he doesn't, he has committed treason and participated in the death and dismemberment of American soldiers by getting in bed with GE. This has to be answered for.
I will back this up with additional information later.

Oooohh That Smell. Can't You Smell That Smell?

Something is rotten in the State of Denmark. - Marcellus, Hamlet, Act I, Scene 4, 87-91.
G.E., which is in an evil relationship with the Obama administration, is buying 12,000 Chevy Volts, which are a fraudulent form of electric car, from GM, which is owned mostly by the Obama administration. What's more, China, which artificially keeps its currency devalued in order to maintain trade surpluses and is ticked off at the U.S. for the Fed's move to monetize the debt because it will artificially keep U.S. currency low and threaten China's trade surplus, is, through its own state-owned car company, SAIC, looking to purchase part of GM when the company goes public.
Oh, and did I mention, G.E. manufactures the remote power supply stations needed to recharge the electric batteries the Chevy Volt occasionally uses to go all of 40 miles before needing a charge?
It is said that Marcellus uses the phrase "State of Denmark" rather than simply Denmark to indicate that the corruption stems from the head of government. Certainly seems apropos here.

The Unholy Alliance

I've written before about what I believe to be an unethical ties between this administration and General Electric. Well, it seem President Obama has abandoned all pretense of the coy dating relationship and has slipped on the wedding band. GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt has been appointed to an official position (he was already an economic advisor) with the administration as chairman of the new Council on Jobs and Competitiveness (Dear Irony, today...). Because what I'm looking for in someone to work on economic growth is a guy whose company received the second largest bailout from the administration that is appointing him to do so. Luckily, MSNBC, the media branch of GE that just merged with Comcast under the approval of the administration, is pretty fair and balanced...oh, wait.

Keith Olbermann Continues to Demonstrate his Competence as a Sportscaster

MSNBC anchor Keith Olbermann, who is roughly as anchored in reality as your average asylum inmate pumped full of Thorazine, has again demonstrated why he shouldn't be allowed to refer to his degree from the Agriculture and Life Sciences College as "Ivy League". Olbermann, who works for one of the biggest corporations in the world, GE, through NBC (though NBC is soon to be merged with Comcast, who's CEO came out in favor of health care coincidentally), which is tied in directly to the Obama administration, has decided that major media outlets, by nature of being owned by corporations, lean right and that thus, liberal media bias is a myth. I miss the days he hosted SportsCenter on ESPN. Maybe this is some Andy Kaufman-esque high art joke that no one gets.

Chicago East

Chicago, Illinois, is well known for being one of the most corrupt cities in America, if not the most corrupt. No suprise, then, that President Obama, who claims Chicago as home, has shown a penchant for crony capitalism and corruption despite his claims of having the most open administration in history. I have detailed some of this corruption before in dealing with the GE connections and connections to lobbyists ushered in the back door of the White House in order to keep them off the books.

More recently scrutiny has been leveled towards the administration for its engagement in venture capitalism with "green energy" projects such as Solyndra which have failed resulting in the loss of publicly backed loans. Now, the Washington Post, not exactly a conservative paper, reports that $3.9 billion in public funds to 21 companies with ties to the Obama adminstration. This exemplifies the problem with a government that believes its proper role is to finance private corporations and pick winners and losers in the economy. Corruption is inevitible when power is exercised without checks or limitations. The solution is simple, returning to the constitutional boundaries given to government by our founders. When government doesn't run your life or your business, you won't feel the need to buy off an official to get a leg up.

Michael Mooron Strikes Again

Michael Moore, who is pretty blatant in his hatred of the U.S.A., has come out directly in his new film expressing what so many in the Obama administration are probably dying to say, "Capitalism is evil". Moore feels that the politicians are too close to businesses in our evil capitalist society (like President Obama and GE?) and that capitalism favors only the rich. Mr. Moore has made millions directing "documentaries" that are political position pieces and carry about as much fact as an Oliver Stone conspiracy theory. As with most delusionals, Mr. Moore sees hope in the Obama administration.

Lives Created or Saved

This just in, President Obama is set to announce that the administration saved or created approximately 300 million Americans since the beginning of his presidency, roughly the U.S. population. While some skeptics have scoffed at the notion that the administration has created or saved the lives of each and every American citizen they find it impossible to dispute the fact that there are, indeed, approximately 300 million Americans still alive. In a related story the administration denounced Fox News for pointing out that there is absolutely no basis for the administration's claims with Communications Director Anita Dunn commenting "Clearly Fox News is a cartoon channel that does not produce news, merely one hour musical pieces starring loveable fat men with amazingly thin wives on Sunday nights." When it was pointed out to Anita Dunn that she might be referring to recent episodes of The Simpsons, Family Guy and other animated shows on the Fox broadcast network, Ms. Dunn stood by her assertion and then praised the quality investigative journalism of John Stewart, host of "The Daily Show" on Comedy Central, a subsidiary of NBC and GE. (Seriously, check the link, the last part is true.)

NBC's Legacy of GEvil Continues Under New Management

If you've read this blog for a long time you know about the relationship of GE, former owner of NBC (the unrepentant mouthpiece of the progressive agenda), and the Obama Administration. It appears the purchase of NBC by Comcast hasn't removed the media-administration marriage. Last night Comcast Executive VP David Cohen hosted a cozy dinner for 120 people at his home, each of whom donated $10,000.00 to the Obama campaign. That's a cozy $1.2 million dinner.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

In Case You Hadn't Already Sold Those GE Stocks

Jeff Immelt, leader of a corporation whose evil is only exceeded by Disney, gave a speech on how government involvment in industry is good and profits are bad (admittedly, he didn't directly say the second of those, but it's pretty obvious). OK, I get it. He's a lackey of the administration. Perhaps Obama is fisting him.
What I don't get, is why the hell is this man speaking at West Point.
