I wasn't sure I even wanted to mention this story when I ran across it's first run, in which our Safe Schools Czar, Kevin Jennings, instructs kids on "fisting", presumably as a safe sex practice, but when the second story surfaced of handing out "fisting kits", I figured it was probably worth noting the continuing string of idiocy that can be associated with President Obama's appointees. How sick and how far outside of the norm can we possibly get? I could give a shit less what you do at home and with whom you do it as long as everyone is of age and consents. But this guy wants to bring this kind of thing into our schools so the little boys and girls will think it's everyday behavior. I'll make a deal. You can bitch about my religion invading on classrooms when you get your own morality out. This guy needs to be fired.
In the United Kingdom's parlimentary system, the opposing coalition or party often refers to itself as the shadow government. Under Barack Obama and previous government expansionist presidents, democracy itself has become the shadow government, the party of opposition laying in wait in the hope that it can take over some day.

The Rebirth of the Soviet Dictatorship
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin has acknowledged he has no plans of leaving office or giving up power any time soon, telling a questioner "Don't hold your breath." For those of you not familiar with Putin, he was president of Russia until he ran up against term limitations and then basically appointed himself Prime Minister while stuffing current figurehead Dmitry Medvedev into his former office. Putin is likely to return to the office of President, as he is again eligible for the post. Putin, who is former K.G.B., is a man in the mold of the old, hard liners, having jailed political opponents, and he is suspected of being involved in the poisoning of former Russian spy and outspoken opponent Alexander Litvinenko. If Obama is the new Jimmy Carter, the next president is going to be Reagan-esque and Russia is sliding back towards dictatorship, does this mean the Talking Heads will be reuniting?
And the Beat Goes On...
Looks like "climategate" may be rowing across the Atlantic to our home shores as the author of "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming and Environmentalism" is poised to sue NASA over two years of failure to release information pursuant to a Freedom of Information Act request. More interesting in the article, however, is that NASA seems to have been recalculating their temperature data for the last few years to the point that 1934 keeps getting hotter and colder. Call me crazy, but if we're going to run around claiming the globe is warming and we're all doomed, shouldn't we be able to accurately determine the temperature for a year in which we have documentation?

I Wonder if She Knew Michael Chricton
Once again, Ann Coulter hits the nail on the head in rather succinct fashion, showing how global warming is a false religion. Sounds familiar to me...
Stop!! HAMMER TIME!!
Well, that title is a bit of a reach. Even people who bought MC Hammer records are too old to remember that reference. In any case, it's time to shut down Cap and Trade, Copenhagen and all the other asinine leap first, ask questions later, fraudulent science-induced, fear-mongering, international government inducing....well, you get the point. Action on climate change has to cease now. Five members of the Australian government resigned their posts because they could no longer vote with their party on a cap and trade scheme and it was subsequently voted down by their parliament. In the meantime, Al Gore has consistently refused to respond to demands he debate skeptics since long before the "climategate" e-mails erupted. How can an entire planet be mislead by people without the courage to address their critics? We've known the hockey-stick graph utilized by the IPCC was bad science for decades, yet no one seemed to hesitate to use it, and it continues to pop up as if it was legitimate. Maybe it's time we put Al Gore where he belongs, in the defendant's chair in a federal courtroom with a charge of fraud.
Can We At Least Try a Tactic More Intelligent Than "I'm Rubber, You're Glue"?
Senator Barbara Boxer (D. Cali.), apparently in response to Senator James Inhofe's (R. OK) request for an investigation into the "climategate" e-mails, has taken the usual liberal everyone else is to blame but us tactic of crying out that the "hackers" should face criminal charges. So, just like the calls for investigations into the reporters who exposed the ACORN scandal, the people who uncover fraud are the guilty parties by liberal standards, with the fraudulent actors being the victims. I guess the massive expenditures set out on climate change research and the potential cap and trade legislation in various countries that has the potential to destroy economies isn't all that important to Sen. Boxer. Maybe she'll at least notice the criminal effort to destroy the e-mails in response to a Freedom of Information Act request, though that is more properly before the British authorities....come to think of it, so is the hacking.

The international online addition of Der Spiegel has a pretty good article about President Obama's speech on the troop semi-surge in Afghanistan.
