In the United Kingdom's parlimentary system, the opposing coalition or party often refers to itself as the shadow government. Under Barack Obama and previous government expansionist presidents, democracy itself has become the shadow government, the party of opposition laying in wait in the hope that it can take over some day.

Just When I Think I've Seen the Lowest of the Low...
What does this video prove? Yes she is in favor of the tax hike. Anyone who draws the conclusion she is a bad teacher from this video is assinine. Am I to assume she thinks the money is going directly into her pocket? Maybe she buys into what she's being told and thinks this is going toward improving public education. Maybe she a bleeding heart that thinks the less fortunate should be taken care of by the government. I know you don't believe in this tax ,obviously the writer of this article is against it. I am relatively sure that I don't agree with it either ,but can we stick to criticizing the right people and not making massive leaps of judgement based on opinion only. I sgree with the principle of this article ,I do not agree with the presentation, this writer has nop credibility whatesoever.
I was focusing on the video. The give me the money where is the money entitlement attitude is what I find disturbing. While it is a given that this does not make her a bad teacher, we have seen teachers pushing their political agendas in school. I hope she is not one of those. Again, it is the entitlement mentality I find disturbing. Also, I do think it is fair to assume she thinks the tax raise is going to be applied to her salary, pension fund, etc.
The video being used as an example is what bothers me. Yes the woman is a bit over the top, however she says or does nothing that has any relevance to anything other than fitting a racial profile. This is exactly the same technique as the papers that showed all the racially biased signs being flown at the tea parties. The right claims to be based on principles and belief in the founding fathers of this country, yet at every opportunity they stoop to the same levels they criticize the left for. Two wrongs don't make a right as Dad used to say.Can we create a faction of belief that is described as dead center ,maybe on target ,how bout bulls eye, because the left is left and the right is right , no one is on the Mark ( pun intended ).
I don't see anything racial about it. It's the attitude of a teacher's union government employee. I could give a damn less what color she is, nor do I ascribe her beliefs to her race any more than I would those of Thomas Sowell (who rocks).
